Big Daddy Rides Again
I had a snafu with hosting, totally my fault. I can’t find my backups. So, while (or if) I find the wherewithal to recreate 3+ years of posts using the WayBack Machine, this post will have to stand in.
The aforementioned WayBack Machine, my last post was over two years ago when I started composting. A lot and nothing has happened since then. I’m still composting. Although it has reduced the amount of trash I produce to almost nothing, it takes longer to get usable compost when you are as lazy as I am. But it has reduced what I put out at the curb to almost nothing. So there is that.
I still have the house I bough Jan. 31, 2015. Earlier in 2017 I pulled the trigger to insulate the free standing garage to turn it into an office. There is still much to be done but I regularly work out there, despite it being essentially an insulated storage unit with windows and a door.
The bad neighbor who I not-very-affectionately dubbed Crazy Train (the other names are not fit for print) got herself forclosed upon. Bless her heart, far away from me.
I got to travel some, including a trip to Prague and several to Mexico with Mis Muchachos. There were some challenges finding a dog sitter, mainly because my dog Katie can be scary if she takes an inexplicable dislike to someone, which happened. Fortunately my former neighbors’ sister has become my regular sitter. She is sweet, reliable, affordable and my dogs adore her and her boyfriend.
After a big lapse in posting, I think I need to take up the thread. I don’t spend as much time on social media as I once did. After the Cheetolini got elected revealing to me who in my friend and family pool are giant douche bags, I’ve kind of lost my taste for it. I still like Instagram; maybe it’s time I buckle donw and figure out how not to take embarrassing photos on my iPhone.
